Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated room attendant for Freehand Los Angeles. Maintain rooms and building to provide a safe, clean experience for guests and associates. Duties include cleaning surfaces, changing linens, dusting, restocking, and signaling completion of tasks to supervisors.

You will need physical stamina, teamwork, and good communication to thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment while supporting a culture of growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces, and perform cleaning tasks in confined spaces.
• Willingness to pitch in and be a team player with coworkers.
• Knowledge of cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to push/pull equipment weighing up to 100 lbs and lift bed linens up to 50 lbs.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floors.
• Strip beds and change bed linens (up to 50 lbs).
• Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves.
• Push/pull vacuum and empty trash in rooms.
• Restock amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms.
• Sign for room keys and restock heavy cart.
• Visually inspect room for cleanliness and completeness.
• Attend to attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
