Job summary

Jay Peak Resort seeks a Non-CDL Shuttle Driver to transport guests and staff safely and punctually to local and regional hubs and attractions across the US and Canada. The role requires maintaining a clean driving record and Vermont license and involves on-demand pickups, fare collection, and customer information duties.

This position emphasizes flexibility in shifts, compliance with resort policies, and readiness to handle emergencies, with compensation at $17.25 per hour and a benefits package

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Must have a clean driving record and a valid Vermont Driver’s License.
• Regularly required to sit; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; vision requirements specified.

Responsibilities

• Communicate by radio and/or cell telephone.
• Provide verbal and written reports and respond to operational issues per policy.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, cleaning, and servicing.
• Follow an on-demand schedule of pick-ups and drop-offs at transportation hubs and terminals.
• Adhere to traffic regulations, collect fares, and inform the public about routes and schedules.
