Several discount programs (i.e. food & beverage, retail/rental, tickets, etc.) also available.Job Summary:Hotel Shuttle Drivers provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation for hotel guests. This role includes operating shuttles on designated routes between hotel properties, parking areas, and resort facilities while maintaining exceptional guest service. Drivers must follow all Killington Resort, state, and federal transportation regulations and complete required inspections and documentation. The goal of the Shuttle Driver is to provide a value-added service to all Grand Hotel and Preston’s guests.Summary of Key Responsibilities:Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Safely operate hotel shuttle vehicles along assigned routes, following defensive driving practices and all federal, state, and resort regulationsProvide courteous, informative service to hotel guests, including updates on resort amenities, hotel services, dining options, local transportation, weather, and activitiesCoordinate with other shuttles and departments to keep hotel transportation running smoothly while answering guest questions, monitoring radio communication, and maintaining situational awarenessAssist guests at shuttle stops, ensuring safe and easy boarding and exiting, including helping with luggage when neededOffer guests up-to-the-minute information on hotel services, operating hours, resort events, and transportation schedulesRecord daily shuttle data such as ridership counts, arrival times, wait times, and total run timesPerform daily vehicle inspections, including cleanliness, gauges, tires, lights, damage checks, and required pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsReport mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to the Vehicle Maintenance Department or Grand Front DeskMaintain proficiency in all shuttle operation skills, including guest announcements and defensive driving practicesPerform related duties as assigned, such as installing tire chains, assisting with snow removal around shuttle stops, and cleaning vehiclesMaintain a friendly, helpful, and professional attitude with all guestsComplete other tasks as assignedBasic Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAbility to lift 50 pounds (e.g., luggage, equipment)Must report any traffic violations or license suspensionsValid U.S. driver's licenseExcellent driving record (must provide proof)At least 25 years oldRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Previous guest relation service experience preferredTwo years CDL driving preferredExperience driving in winter conditionsAbility to work outdoors in a winter alpine environment for up to 10 hoursMust be honest and have the highest integrity and professionalismComfortable working in a fast paced, environment with changing prioritiesMust be flexible with schedule – able to work any hours of the day, any days of the week including weekends and holidaysIt is the policy of Killington/Pico Ski Resort Partners, LLC to provide equal opportunity and employment to all staff and applicants.
