Job summary

Towne is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Ohio to transport guests to and from hotels, hospitals or casinos in a safe, courteous manner. You will assist with luggage, maintain vehicle logs, and learn pickup/destination points and local amenities.

The role requires compliance with HIPPA protections, a clean MVR/background, and the ability to operate a vehicle seating eight or fewer passengers. Compensation is hourly, with a schedule that may include AM/PM shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write standard English language.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients and other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s; ability to perform these operations using units of American money.
• Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems.
• Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed.

Responsibilities

• Transport guests to and/or from the hotel, hospital or casino and local area in a friendly, efficient and courteous manner using safe driving practices.
• Assist guests with luggage including delivery and pick up of guest luggage during guest arrival and departure and maintaining the vehicle activity and maintenance logs.
• Learn and remember pick-up and destination points; know property outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, parking rates, etc.
• Protect guest confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA requirements; maintain security of client financial and identifying information.
• Operate vehicle safely (max 8 passengers) and inspect vehicle before each shift for proper operation; report issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate courteously with guests and staff.
