Admissions & Guest Services Team Member
Role Summary

As an Admissions & Guest Services Team Member, you will be one of the first points of contact for guests visiting the National Medal of Honor Museum. You will help create a welcoming, seamless, and memorable guest experience by assisting with ticket purchases, upgrades, memberships, and add-on experiences; validating admission; answering guest questions; and providing information and directions throughout the Museum.

The ideal candidate is professional, personable, and service-oriented, with the ability to remain positive, helpful, and composed in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.

Essential Functions
  • Assist guests with ticket purchases, upgrades, memberships, and add-on experiences using established ticketing and point-of-sale systems.
  • Answer Guest Services calls and assist with troubleshooting ticketing and admission-related issues.
  • Utilize established sales and service techniques to promote ticket upgrades, memberships, and additional guest experiences.
  • Validate tickets and other admission entitlements prior to Museum entry.
  • Welcome guests warmly and provide information regarding Museum exhibits, amenities, services, and offerings.
  • Provide clear and helpful directional assistance throughout the Museum and surrounding areas.
  • Respond to guest questions and concerns in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and team members within the assigned area.
  • Follow all Museum policies, procedures, and guest service standards.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to support a positive and seamless guest experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, attractions, museums, retail, or customer service is preferred.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use ticketing, point-of-sale, and other computer-based systems.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional when assisting guests with questions, concerns, or ticketing issues.
  • Ability to confidently communicate the value of Museum memberships, upgrades, and add-on experiences.
  • Must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as scheduled.
  • Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Practice safe work habits and follow all safety policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Must complete company-wide safety training and any additional job-specific training as required.
