Job summary

Mt Southington Ski Area Inc is seeking a Guest Services Specialist to assist with ticket sales, rentals, and lesson packages. You will handle refunds, exchanges, and complex transactions while maintaining a high level of guest service and accurate POS records.

You must be able to work weekends and peak season hours, pass a background check, and be eligible to work in the United States. This on-site role includes ski/ride access benefits for employees.

Qualifications

• Experience handling cash and credit card transactions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and solutions-oriented in high-volume environments.
• Eligible to work in the United States; background check completed.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets, rentals, and lesson packages to guests.
• Process refunds, exchanges, and adjustments per mountain policy.
• Assist with escalated guest concerns and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and POS records.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist guests promptly and professionally.
• Complete required trainings and assist operations team as needed.
