Job description

Guest Services Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. This role will answer calls and field them accordingly, address questions and needs of customers, and provide an overall welcoming environment.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate a multi-line phone system
• Answer all incoming calls; ideally by the third ring with a friendly voice, polite, professional manner, and transfer them to the appropriate person or department quickly
• Efficiently communicate with callers, minimizing the time they are put on hold
• Keep written records of who is on hold
• Take detailed messages when a call cannot be completed, including name, phone number, time of call, and information requested to be delivered to the appropriate party promptly
• Use the caller’s name whenever possible
• Handle customer complaints effectively and direct the customer, if required, to the appropriate manager
• Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer customers\' questions
• Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and calls received
• Maintain the general office filing system
• Receive deliveries, sort, and distribute incoming mail
• Follow procedure for time clocks and ensure proper clocking in and out of work daily
• Maintain a professional appearance and neat work area
• Take inventory of office supplies and refreshments, restock as needed
• Handle retail apparel sales
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management

Compensation: $20 -25/hr. (depending on experience)
