Job summary

McMenamins Elks Temple in Tacoma, WA, is seeking friendly Guest Services Staff to provide security, crowd control, and customer service during events and at the front of house. The role includes assisting with load-ins/outs, checking tickets, and helping ensure a safe, welcoming venue for guests and artists.

The position offers hands-on training, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities to grow within McMenamins’ neighborhood pubs and hotel properties.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred; training provided.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Tacoma security permit.
• Flexible schedule including swing shifts, days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide crowd control and security during events and while on duty.
• Assist with band load-ins/loadouts and ticket collection at entry.
• Deliver friendly, customer-focused service and address guest needs.
• Maintain safety, respond to incidents, and coordinate with team.
