Position Purpose And Summary

The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, collecting payments, and completing all necessary front office paperwork, while ensuring adherence to safety and security procedures for all associates and guests.

Major / Key Job Duties

  • Provide excellent guest service and respond to guest requests with follow-through.
  • Resolve guest issues using the Make it Right process, embodying ESA's service culture.
  • Process reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and payments according to company guidelines.
  • Handle collection efforts for in-house balances and maintain financial accounts.
  • Set up and break down breakfast displays promptly.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment at the front desk and common areas.
  • Promote ESA's value and convert inquiries into reservations.
  • Gather guest information, identify sales opportunities, and follow up accordingly.
  • Conduct periodic property tours to ensure standards are met.
  • Assist with guest accommodations and respond to requests practically.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, and company policies, including key control and safety reporting.

Other Duties

  • Assist with hotel cleanliness, including cleaning and upkeep of various areas.
  • Participate in cross-training in housekeeping and laundry tasks.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
