Position Purpose And Summary

The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") must demonstrate a strong commitment to providing the best experience for guests. Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in/out, collecting payments, and completing front office paperwork. The GSR ensures safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.

Major / Key Job Duties
  • Provide excellent guest experience and respond to requests with follow-through.
  • Resolve guest issues using the Make it Right process, embodying ESA's service culture.
  • Process reservations, check-ins, payments, and check-outs per company guidelines.
  • Handle collections and maintain cash, credit, and ledger accounts accurately.
  • Set up and break down breakfast displays timely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization at the front desk, lobby, and guest areas.
  • Promote ESA to inquiries and convert them into reservations.
  • Gather guest information, identify sales opportunities, and conduct property tours to meet brand standards.
  • Assist with guest requests and ensure safety and security compliance.
Other Duties
  • Maintain overall hotel cleanliness and assist with housekeeping and laundry as needed.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Compensation

Pay varies by location and experience. For example:

  • Colorado, Washington, California: $13.50 - $22.73/hr
  • New York City (Whitestone): $32.88/hr
