Position Purpose and Summary
The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") must demonstrate a strong commitment to providing the best guest experience. Responsibilities include assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, collecting payments, and completing all front office paperwork. The GSR ensures safety and security procedures are followed for all associates and guests.

Major / Key Job Duties

1. Provide exceptional guest service and respond to guest requests.
2. Resolve guest issues using the Make it Right process, embracing ESA's service culture.
3. Process reservations, check-ins, check-outs, and payments following company guidelines.
4. Handle collection efforts and maintain accurate cash, credit card, and ledger accounts.
5. Set up and dismantle breakfast displays timely.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work area at the front desk and in guest common areas.
7. Promote ESA's value to inquiries and convert them into reservations.
8. Gather guest information, identify sales opportunities, and promote the hotel.
9. Conduct property tours to ensure standards are met.
10. Assist with guest accommodations and respond to requests as practical.
11. Adhere to all safety, security, and company policies, including key control and safety issues.

Other Duties

1. Maintain overall hotel cleanliness, including assisting with cleaning of various areas.
2. Engage in cross-training in housekeeping and laundry to provide assistance as needed.
3. Perform other tasks assigned by management.
