Position Purpose And Summary

The Guest Services Representative ("GSR") position must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests. This role involves assisting guests, answering phones, checking guests in and out, and collecting payments according to company guidelines. The GSR also handles all necessary front office paperwork and ensures adherence to safety and security procedures for all associates and guests.

Major / Key Job Duties

• Provide excellent guest experience with 100% commitment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and follow through diligently.
• Resolve guest issues through the Make it Right process, embracing ESA's service culture with respect and kindness.
• Process reservations, check-ins, payments, and departures per company policies.
• Manage collection efforts and maintain cash, credit, and city ledger accounts.
• Set up and dismantle breakfast displays timely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area behind the front desk, lobby, and guest areas.
• Promote and sell ESA's value to inquiries and convert them into reservations.
• Gather guest information, identify sales opportunities, and probe for leads.
• Conduct periodic property tours to ensure brand standards.
• Provide accommodations and respond to guest requests when possible.
• Follow all safety, security, and company policies, including key control and reporting issues promptly.

Other Duties

• Maintain overall hotel cleanliness and assist with cleaning tasks in various areas.
• Engage in cross-training for housekeeping and laundry support.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
