Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a Guest Services Agent to join our front desk team at our Austin property. The role focuses on delivering Sonesta Service, greeting guests, and resolving inquiries, while supporting the Operations Manager on shift.

You will register guests, process transactions, handle reservations, and uphold guest privacy in a fast-paced hotel environment. A positive attitude and fluent English are required; prior hotel or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of hotel or retail customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately and securely.
• Upsell rooms to maximize revenue and follow seasonal reservation strategies.
• Maintain guest privacy and safety of data.
