Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels is seeking a Guest Services Agent to deliver outstanding hospitality at the front desk. You will serve as the first point of contact, register guests, issue keys, and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.

This role requires a friendly, professional demeanor and strong cash handling discipline. You will handle phone inquiries, process transactions, and support operations with up-to-date knowledge of our reservations systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of hotel or retail customer service preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages helpful.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office preferred.
• ServSafe and/or TIPS certifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Answer phones promptly and courteously.
• Process cash and credit transactions; prepare deposits and reports.
• Maintain security of guest information and transactions.
• Assist with guest reservations and upsell rooms when possible.
