Job summary

U.S. Army MWR at Fort Irwin, CA is seeking a team-oriented facility assistant to help run daily operations and deliver top-notch customer service to Soldiers and visitors.

You will manage cash handling, report daily activity, assist bartenders, monitor inventories, and coordinate food and beverage orders using Food Track or similar software, while rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and customer service duties.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patrons and team members.
• Must meet background and suitability requirements for Federal employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with the operation of facility following procedures.
• Handle cash receipts, verify counts, and report shortages/overages.
• Ensure only authorized patrons access facilities; submit daily operation reports.
• Assist bartenders with setup and closing tasks; complete daily activity reports; perform fire safety checks.
• Monitor inventories and place/receive food and beverage orders using Food Track or similar software.
