Job summary

AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk in Overland Park, KS seeks a Guest Services Manager to deliver world-class service, manage staff, and coordinate camps, leagues and events. The role includes cash handling, scheduling, and daily operations across the facility, with strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years' experience in youth programming preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays and long hours.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must take initiative for team and facility improvement.

Responsibilities

• Create and coordinate staff schedule for the Guest Services Team.
• Greet guests and provide prompt answers and directions.
• Foster world-class guest service culture with enthusiasm.
• Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures.
• Answer phone calls per greeting standards and assist day-pass guests.
• Register guests for leagues, camps, clinics, drop-ins, etc.
• Process payments and facility orientation for day-pass guests.
• Be knowledgeable about prices, programs, and daily schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of waivers, events, and incidents.
• Record league scores and print game sheets as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and team member information.
• Resolve guest concerns or direct to appropriate manager.
• Coordinate Child Watch schedule and activities weekly.
• Hire, train, and develop Guest Services and Child Watch teams.
• Coordinate events and parties, ensure timely execution.
• Communicate clearly with MODs, Event Coordinators, and staff.
• Build relationships with local businesses/schools for events.
