Job summary

Merete is seeking a Houseperson to support the Front Desk and Housekeeping by cleaning hallways, restrooms, meeting rooms, and public areas. You will stock linen, assist with guest requests, and ensure a clean, safe environment while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.

The role emphasizes punctuality, safety, and the ability to handle varied tasks, including moving furniture and setting up rooms for events. Training provided and weekly pay are offered.

Responsibilities

• Clean and vacuum hallways and public areas.
• Stock linen closets with clean linen.
• Report maintenance and repair needs.
• Report damage, vandalism, and missing hotel property.
• Communicate guest requests and problems to supervisor.
• Deliver items such as baby cribs or rollaway beds to guests.
• Retrieve soiled linen and empty trash on carts.
• Move furniture and assist in rotating mattresses.
• Set up and tear down meeting rooms.
• Report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain punctuality.
