Job summary

Naparksohio Recreation Center invites applicants for a Guest Services role focused on delivering a positive experience for patrons within the Fieldhouse and Community Center. You will help set up gym and classrooms for events while maintaining a professional, helpful demeanor.

The position requires strong communication, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to center policies. CPR/First Aid certification within 30 days is required at no cost.

• Navigate computer software for scheduled reservations.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and safe atmosphere for community members.
• Maintain an organized approach to setting up and tearing down event spaces.
• Ensure patrons adhere to center rules and procedures, maintaining a safe environment.
• Follow calendar of reservations for set up and tear down of events; communicate with Facilities and Operations Manager and/or Manager on Duty; complete incident reports.
• Recognize unusual or threatening conditions and take appropriate action.
• Oversight of birthday parties and open gym time.
