Guest Services Coordinator – Responsibilities
- Greet and establish rapport with guests
- Field resort comments, suggestions, and complaints to the resort manager
- Check guests in and out for their reservations
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phones, typing, copying, faxing, and filing
- Complete and maintain resort records, reports, and files
- Prepare and distribute resort communications such as rule reminders, violation notices, and newsletters
- Ensure office supplies are sufficiently stocked and prepare supply orders as needed
- Assist with the preparation of marketing materials
Job Qualifications
- Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Prior administrative experience preferred
- Resort office or hotel front desk experience a plus
Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Schedule
Hours are variable and are based on guest occupancy, season, staffing, and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
