Job summary

ASM Global LLC. is seeking a Guest Services Attendant in the United States to serve as the first point of contact for patrons. The ideal candidate will assist with ticket taking, ushering, and special accommodations for diverse patrons including those with disabilities.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends. Benefits include free employee parking and tickets to shows.

Job description

Guest Services Attendant will serve as ticket taker and/or usher distributing programs and escorting patrons to their appropriate seats. Assist with last minute pre‑event needs, including setting‑up, decorating, and finding materials. Assist with last minute and/or emergency patron needs. Provide special accommodations for wheelchairs and other physically challenged patrons, senior citizens, students, and groups.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works in conjunction with House Managers.
• Serves as the first line for patron issues and concerns.
• Serve as ticket taker and/or usher distributing programs and escorting patrons to their appropriate seats.
• Serve as coat check attendant.
• Assist with last minute pre‑event needs such as setting‑up, decorating, finding materials.
• Provide special accommodations for wheelchairs and other physically challenged patrons, senior citizens, students and groups.
• Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

• Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons and others encountered in the course of employment.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or G.E.D. and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to move around the facility.
• Stand for long hours during events.
• Talk and hear.
• May work inside or outside the building as needed by events.
• Require stooping and lifting.
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
