Job description

Job Description

POSITION DETAILS:

The Guest Services Associate is an essential role at The Portland Girl. This position is designed to assist the management team, ensure clients are made to feel welcome, and support estheticians so they can do their best work.

The Portland Girl is a team-based company that encourages employee growth with lots of opportunities for advancement.

This is an 18+ position.

OUR STORY:

At The Portland Girl, we blend ancient beauty rituals with cutting edge skin care treatments that target NW skin (yep, we have our own regional challenges). Unlike most skincare studios that carry products that are chock-full of ingredients linked to cancer and skin irritation, we believe in only using/carrying/selling products that pass our artisanal standards. No parabens, No sulfates, No phthalates, No weird dyes or fake perfumes and no testing on our furry animals. We feel that the products you use should be super effective, but that they shouldn’t give you weird rashes, headaches or cancer.

OUR MISSION:

Give back to yourself and give back to your community. Because if you aren’t taking care of yourself, how can you take care of others?

COMPANY CULTURE:

Our company culture is inclusive, fun and tight-knit. We work hard, but we play hard too. Work-life balance is a given, and so is good pay and paid time off for all employees. We reward hustle while also paying a good hourly rate (no "commission-culture" here). We are a team and we all work together to grow the company.
