Job summary

Days Inn in Duluth, MN is seeking a fast, friendly front desk associate. You will check in guests during peak hours, greet with a welcoming smile, and help ensure every stay is enjoyable.

Shifts are 8 hours, 7am–3pm or 3pm–11pm. You’ll respond to guest questions, address concerns, and support the team to maintain high service standards. This is a great entry point into hospitality with room to grow.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and lead others.
• Basic math and computer skills for check-ins and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests are treated efficiently and courteously and standards are followed by staff.
• Address guest concerns and follow up as needed.
• Assist in daily maintenance of room inventory to optimize revenue while maintaining guest expectations.
• Supervise bell staff to ensure smooth arrivals, departures and guest contact.

These are 8 hour shifts that range from 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all guests are being treated in an efficient and courteous manner and that all standards are being applied by all staff members.
• Address all guest concerns and ensure follow up is complete
• Assist in the daily maintenance of room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenue while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.
• Supervise the activities and the service levels of the bell staff to ensure that the arrival, departures and all other guest contact are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.

Qualifications:

• Highly organized.
• Must possess a thorough knowledge of guest service and satisfaction.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
