Job summary

Palm Beach Zoo is seeking a friendly Guest Services Agent to join our team. You’ll be the welcoming face for guests, helping families and members, and ensuring a memorable visit. You will process ticket and membership sales, answer questions about habitats, programs, and amenities, and help operate attractions such as the carousel and Lorikeet Loft.

What You'll Do

As a Guest Services Agent, you'll be one of the friendly faces our guests interact with throughout their visit. You'll:

• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and provide the uncommon service that makes a Zoo visit memorable.
• Process ticket and membership sales accurately and efficiently.
• Answer guest questions and provide information about the Zoo, habitats, programs, and amenities.
• Help resolve guest questions and concerns with patience, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Operate attractions such as the carousel and Lorikeet Loft.
• Assist with daily Guest Services operations and keep things running smoothly during busy periods.
• Work as part of a team while also taking initiative and handling responsibilities independently.

Requirements

Who You Are

We're looking for someone who is:

• Friendly, approachable, and genuinely enjoys helping people.
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player who can also work independently.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather — sunshine, humidity, and the occasional afternoon rain included!
• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
