Job description

Job Responsibilities
  1. Work collaboratively with the Front Desk Attendants to maintain the front of the house as a friendly, guest-oriented location for leisure and recreation.
  2. Ensure that staff maintains a sanitary, organized, and presentable area.
  3. Plan, organize, and control the operations of the amusement areas.
  4. Assist with scheduling employees to cover the department and events.
  5. Train and supervise the Front Desk Attendants and Porters.
  6. Perform league preparation duties; coordinate lane assignments, monitor practice times if applicable.
  7. Promote knowledge of the location’s features and upcoming events.
  8. Communicate inventory and supplies shortages in department to General Manager.
  9. Inspect, maintain, and may have to troubleshoot equipment.
  10. Ensure security, functionality, and proper handling of company property in the department.
  11. Interact professionally by using Spare Time Service Standards (Code S.E.R.V.E.).
  12. Answer guest inquiries over the phone and in person; providing accurate information.
  13. Patrol FOH to respond to guest’s needs and take action to correct any problems.
  14. Confidently operate the POS System making accurate transactions while operating lanes, collecting payments, returning change, and printing reports or scores.
  15. Issue, record and redeem gift certificates, coupons, etc. according to company policy.
  16. Provide all required complimentary shift paperwork with settlement in a consistent and organized manner.
  17. Make announcements to guests over the P.A. system regarding specials, promotions, etc.
  18. Communicate with pit crews; operate call buttons, relay information, log calls, check response time.
  19. Perform opening and closing duties as required.
  20. Enforce safety rules and report hazards.
  21. Monitor guests for rule violations.
  22. Report all company violations to management.
  23. Respond to injuries or other incidents; provide first aid, call ambulance/police if necessary, complete proper paperwork (i.e. Incident Report, etc.).
  24. Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications
