Job summary

Global Partners LP in Palmer, MA is seeking a Guest Service Supervisor to lead staff, greet guests, and ensure store operations run smoothly, including safety, cash handling, and stock duties.

You will coach team members, monitor procedures, and respond to guest inquiries, with flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. We offer competitive pay and benefits in a regional retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be available to work flexible hours including day, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to access all store areas and lift up to 25 lbs during a shift.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees ensuring they perform duties set by management.
• Coach staff by giving constructive feedback to improve performance.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality and store policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale and maintain cash levels.
• Ensure store housekeeping tasks are completed.
• Ensure 24/7 execution of guest service programs and processes.
• Handle cash processes including deposits, lottery, gift cards and checks where applicable.
• Keep products stocked and address guest inquiries and complaints.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.

Job Description

• Supervise employees making sure they are performing all the job duties implemented by management.
• Coaching employees by giving them constructive feedback to help perform certain tasks.
• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash levels (including employees being supervised).
• Ensure all store housekeeping functions are completed (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash etc.).
• Ensure the 24/7 execution of all guest service programs and processes.
• Responsible for all cash processes which includes deposit preparation, lottery, gift cards, and checks where applicable.
• Always replenishes products to ensure in-stock conditions.
• Address inquiries and complaints from guests.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.

Additional Job Description

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends and or holidays.
• Must be efficient and organized.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for position.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb and lift up to 25 lbs. during a shift.
• Work in intermittent temperatures (i.e., cooler, outside, etc.,).
• Must have reliable transportation.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $17.66 - $20.87 The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
