Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Retail, hospitality, or Food and Beverage experience is preferred but not required
• Ability to take direction and collaborate in a team environment
• Ability to work in a high energy and demanding environment
• Knowledge of math and cashier experience
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as with other team members
• Able to work unsupervised for extensive periods, and to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and peers

Responsibilities

• Deliver meals to tables accurately and timely.
• Welcome guests with a warm and friendly greeting and assist with orders.
• Explain dishes and drinks and make recommendations as appropriate.
• Coordinate food orders to guarantee timely and efficient delivery to the table.
• Refill water and drinks periodically.
• Respond to guest inquiries promptly.
• Assist Expeditor, Servers, and Bartenders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Support other areas of the restaurant as requested (seating, answering phones, stock work).
• Complete all side work duties (sweeping, mopping).
• Enthusiastically supports decisions by management.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal laws, and food safety regulations.
