Qualifications

• Must be sufficiently proficient in English to understand policies and communicate with customers and coworkers.
• Available to work a variety of hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle challenging situations professionally and exercise sound judgment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates as required by law (in specific locations).
• Cooking/Restaurant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service; greet and thank customers with eye contact.
• Conduct all point-of-sale activities accurately and safely with multiple payment forms.
• Maintain cash drawer and perform cashier reconciliation at shift end.
• Perform station cleaning for indoor/outdoor areas including restrooms, pumps, and car wash.
• Prepare food and hot beverages; manage ExtraMile/KKC food service to maximize sales and minimize loss.
• Promote store specials and other marketing programs.
• Cross-check prices and distribute deliveries to keep shelves full.
• Observe local laws when fueling vehicles to specified levels (Oregon only).
• May perform other duties as assigned by management.
