Job Title: Guest Service Representative (GSR) | Reports to: Guest Services Manager

As a Guest Service Representative, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for guests, whether assisting at the front desk, answering questions, or leading a team. What You’ll Do:
- Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism and care, making a positive impact daily.
- Lead by Example: Reinforce company culture, uphold guest service standards, and guide team members (Service Desk, Cashiers, Baggers, Cart Runners) in daily tasks.
- Utilize Leadership Tools: Use evaluation tools such as tile evaluations, Coach’s Reminder Cards, Cashier Daily Reports, Reference Binders, and the Guest Service OPPS Manual.
- Oversee Operations: Monitor guest service activities, ensure team compliance, and maintain department cleanliness and functionality.
- Support: Manage checkout lines, direct guests, and assist the Guest Service team as needed.
- Monitor & Adjust: Manage staff schedules, adapt operations based on business needs, and ensure compliance with labor laws for minor employees.
- Maintain Staffing Levels: Proactively call in additional staff during busy times or absences.
- Enforce Labor Laws: Schedule minor employees appropriately, ensuring compliance with legal guidelines for breaks and clock-out times.
- Optimize Scheduling: Adjust daily schedules based on sales, traffic, and item movement to maximize productivity.
- Communicate with Shift Managers: Notify managers when assistance is needed and coordinate guest service responsibilities.
- Manage Lane Flow: Open additional checkout lanes during busy periods and keep cash drawers available as needed.
- Track Attendance: Use the GSR Shift Report to document lateness and absences.
- Cart Management: Ensure sufficient carts are available by monitoring collection and distribution processes.
- Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences to find replacements.
- Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
