Job Description - GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE I (250001CE)

Job Summary: Serves as the first point of contact with guests at a Navy Gateway Inn and Suites or Navy Lodge property, handling all stages of guests' stay. Responsibilities include accommodating special requests, resolving issues, managing front desk operations, maintaining lobby appearance, and ensuring guest safety, security, and privacy.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Welcoming guests with a positive attitude and effective communication.
  2. Assisting guests with reservations, payments, check-in/check-out, and providing local information.
  3. Maintaining guest relations and promptly addressing complaints.
  4. Using the Property Management System (PMS) to manage reservations and guest information.
  5. Handling cash, keys, and supplies securely.
  6. Training staff and maintaining accurate records and reports.
  7. Performing additional duties such as breakfast setup, laundry assistance, and emergency operations as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • One year of general office clerical experience.
  • One year of responsible experience related to the position.
  • Educational substitution available: half a year of college study equals six months of experience.
