Festival Foods in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Part-Time Guest Service Representative (GSR) to join our team. The role focuses on delivering welcoming guest service at the front desk, answering questions, and leading peers to maintain a positive store experience.

As a GSR, you’ll coordinate with the Guest Services Manager, manage checkout lanes during busy periods, and support teammates with daily operations while upholding hospitality standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpful, friendly guest service at the front desk and assist guests.
• Lead by example to uphold service standards and guide associates.
• Utilize leadership tools to coach and support staff.
• Oversee operations, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth guest flow.
• Support the team by directing guests, managing lines, and assisting as needed.
• Monitor staff schedules and adjust staffing to business needs.
• Maintain staffing levels and arrange replacements when needed.
• Enforce labor laws and proper breaks for minor employees.
• Optimize daily schedules based on traffic and sales trends.
• Communicate with Shift Managers when extra help is required.
• Manage lane flow by opening additional checkouts when necessary.
• Track attendance using shift reports and address lateness/absences.
• Keep carts available and manage collection processes.
• Honor commitments with timely attendance and advance notice for absences.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned.
