Job summary

NAVY EXCHANGE SERVICE COMMAND (NEXCOM) is seeking a front desk professional for Navy Gateway Inn and Suites and Navy Lodge properties in Maine. You will greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, handle reservations, process payments, and ensure safety and privacy of all guests, while maintaining lobby appearance and staff coordination.

Responsibilities include using the PMS, handling guest requests, resolving issues, and supporting a secure, welcoming environment across shifts, including weekends

Qualifications

• One (1) year of general office clerical experience.
• One (1) year progressively responsible experience related to the position to be filled.
• Study completed in a college, university, or junior college, above the high school level, may be substituted on the basis of one-half academic year of study for 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer guest questions concerning lodging facilities, amenities and local attractions.
• Assist guests with reservations, check-in/check-out, and payments.
• Maintain front desk and lobby area, and ensure guest safety and privacy.
• Operate the Property Management System and reconcile daily transactions.
• Provide wake-up calls and manage reports as assigned.
