Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Experience operating POS systems and balancing cash drawers.
• Casino, resort, or high-volume food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with professionalism and a welcoming attitude.
• Take and call out food and beverage orders using the POS system with precision.
• Process guest payments, discounts, comps, and room charges in accordance with policies.
• Deliver, present, and retrieve guest checks and ensure correct payment and change.
• Maintain cashier station, counters, and service areas in a clean, organized state.
• Ensure accurate order preparation and timely delivery in coordination with kitchen staff.
• Adhere to food safety, health, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Verify guest IDs to comply with alcohol service laws and regulations.
• Assist with seating, plating, and food line duties as needed to support service flow.
