Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa seeks a Cashier – Fiesta Taco to deliver 4-Diamond guest service by greeting guests, taking orders, processing payments, and delivering meals promptly. You will operate a POS, balance cash drawers, and maintain a clean, organized cashier area while upholding food safety and ABC regulations.

Experience in quick-service or casino dining is preferred; Food Handler Certification required or obtained on hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required or to be obtained on hire.
• 6 months to 1 year of cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience operating POS systems, handling cash and credit transactions, and balancing cash drawers.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with professionalism and provide exceptional guest experience.
• Accurately take and call out food and beverage orders using the POS system.
• Operate the cash register and process payments, discounts, comps, and room charges.
• Deliver meals and beverages, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain cashier station, counters, and dining areas clean and organized.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and alcohol service laws.
