Overview
The starting pay range for this position begins at $16.32/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements. Flex: A position working an average of 20-29 hours per week (between 1000 - 1559 hours/year).
Responsibilities
- The Inn Door Attendant is responsible for ensuring all guests/visitors of the hotel feel welcomed as they arrive by delivering a warm and sincere greeting, and anticipating needs.
- Answer guest inquiries; build relationships with repeat guests and visitors; maintain knowledge of estate and area events and activities as well as group and VIP arrivals/departures; and ensure delivery of world class service in accordance with departmental and company standards.
- Provide general support to the Guest Services team, helping with valet, bell, and dispatch duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous comparable guest service experience, preferably working in a four star/diamond hotel/resort. The preferred candidate will have at least six months of direct guest service experience in a hospitality setting.
- Excellent communication and diplomacy skills.
- Ability to engage with guests in a warm and sincere manner.
- Ability to exhibit a high degree of integrity, professionalism and good judgment.
- Extremely strong work ethic and sense of teamwork.
- Ability to proactively anticipate guest needs.
- Ability to maintain guest confidentiality.
- Proven commitment to delivering world class guest service and/or the ability to meet departmental standards for guest service delivery.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have valid NC Driver's license.
- Have the ability to operate standard transmission vehicles.

Physical Requirements
- Professional appearance (neatly groomed beard/moustache, or clean shaven).
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. or more on occasion
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time in all types of weather conditions.
