Essential Job Function:

The function of a Guest Service Associate is to perform the following duties in a friendly and professional manner ensuring a high level of customer service and store appearance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service
  2. Running a cash register, this includes accountability for cash, lottery tickets, cash cards, etc.
  3. Completing shift report
  4. Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, emptying trash containers, etc.)
  5. Stocking shelves and coolers
  6. Sweeping and mopping floors
  7. Gasoline tank inventory (stick readings)
  8. Checking product in as it is delivered from vendors
  9. Yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, checking gas wells, etc.)
  10. Light equipment maintenance (pumps, lighting, machinery, etc.)
  11. Merchandising
  12. Other tasks assigned by management
  13. Ability to communicate with associates and guests
  14. Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork

Position Requirements:

  1. Wear required store uniform
  2. Available for weekend, evening shifts and holidays
  3. Must have reliable transportation
  4. Must attend mandatory meetings (i.e. T.A.M., sexual harassment)

Physical Requirements:

  1. Frequent bending, reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs
  2. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion
  3. Reaching above shoulder height and bending below waist
  4. Be able to freely access all areas of the store
  5. Move quickly around store

Wage Disclosure: $15-$16/hr plus $2/hr differential
