Job summary

Global Partners LP is seeking a Guest Service Associate to elevate the guest experience and support store operations. You will greet guests, handle the POS, maintain cleanliness, and ensure products are stocked and ready for customers.

This role requires flexibility across day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, with the ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in varying temperatures. Comprehensive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest service or retail is preferred.
• Able to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience.
• Adhere to safety, security, quality, and store policies.
• Operate the POS and manage cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Perform store housekeeping and maintain in-stock conditions.
• Replenish products and communicate guest/vendor requests to management.
• Check in external and internal vendors per guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Note: Minors may only use OSHA-approved knives.

Job Description

• Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to the execution of established safety, security, quality and store operations policies, procedures, and practices.
• Operate the point of sale pursuant to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping functions (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, etc.).
• Replenish products and supplies ensuring in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
• Minors may ONLY use OSHA approved knives.

Additional Job Description

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day, nights, weekends, and or holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures, i.e., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders & stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Perform duties of the job in a timely manner.
• You have the ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.
• Support GSA new hire employee's onboarding and training.

Pay Range

N/A Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 The pay range for this position is outlined above.

The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
