European Wax Center is seeking a Guest Service/Sales Associate for our Huntington Station location. You will greet guests, discuss skincare goals, and explain wax passes and promotions while promoting a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Ideal candidates bring 1 year of retail or service experience, strong interpersonal skills, and comfort with POS systems. The role supports a dynamic team and requires flexibility across days and shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of related service or retail experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems and be computer literate.
• Ability to adapt to varying guest personalities and remain calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
• Engage guests in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Proactively educate guests on all of our wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of waxing regularly and prebooking.
• Upholds Artemis Wax standards and protocols at all times. Addresses guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized and inviting front desk & lobby area, upholding the brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay on top of brand knowledge and sales techniques.

Salary Range includes Base Hourly Rate plus Package Sales Commission. Work Environment

• Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in activity frequently as the business requires.
• Most work performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled.
• Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day. Standing, walking, and sitting are required. Length of time at these tasks varies from day to day.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co-workers, and management.

Qualifications

• One year of related service or retail experience. Strongly prefer previous sales experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with guests.
• Can demonstrate proficiency in point-of-sale systems and computer technology.
