Job summary

European Wax Center in Danbury, CT is seeking a Guest Service/Sales Associate to join our team. You will create a warm, welcoming atmosphere and apply your sales acumen to help guests choose waxing options and retail products.

You will greet guests, understand their skincare goals, discuss pass options and current promotions, and pre-book appointments. Upholding Artemis Wax Core Values, you’ll work with a friendly team and stay knowledgeable through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related service or retail experience.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with point-of-sale systems and computers.
• Adaptable to varying guest personalities and high-pressure situations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
• Engage guests in conversations to understand needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Educate guests on wax pass options, current promotions, benefits of waxing, and prebooking; be knowledgeable on retail line.
• Upholds Artemis Wax standards and protocols; address guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain an organized front desk and lobby area, upholding brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive, collaborative team environment by sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current on brand knowledge and sales techniques.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and inviting demeanor, setting the tone for a positive experience.
• Engage guests in meaningful conversations to understand their specific needs, preferences, and skincare goals.
• Proactively educate guests on all of our wax pass options, current promotions, the benefits of waxing regularly and prebooking. Being knowledgeable on all aspects of EWC including our retail line.
• Upholds Artemis Wax standards and protocols at all times. Addresses guest inquiries, book reservations, and resolve concerns in a prompt and professional manner, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain an organized and inviting front desk & lobby area, upholding the brand standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment by assisting colleagues and sharing product knowledge.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to stay on top of brand knowledge and sales techniques.

Work Environment

• Must be able to work effectively in stressful environments, communicate with others and accept constructive feedback from direct supervisors.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in activity frequently as the business requires.
• Most work performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled.
• Must be able to stand or sit at a desk for up to hours per day. Standing, walking, and sitting are required. Length of time at these tasks varies from day to day.
• Must be able to exert well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with clients, co-workers, and management.
