About the Role

City Experiences is seeking a Guest Service Agent for our Statue City Cruises operation in New York, NY (Battery Park). This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences’ RESPECT Service System.

Responsibilities
  1. Provide end-to-end customer care at Battery Park, Liberty State Park, Liberty, and Ellis Island, including boat schedules, line management, crowd control, and guest inquiries.
  2. Sell and promote ticket options efficiently and courteously.
  3. Process will call orders and pass packages.
  4. Manage lines and inform guests of options ahead of time.
  5. Ensure guests are oriented and in the correct lines, providing exemplary customer service.
  6. Coordinate with National Park Service and other staff on Liberty and Ellis Islands.
  7. Prepare guest service reports and report customer service issues.
  8. Maintain schedules and signage updates.
  9. Assist guests in reaching their destinations and ensure all guests disembark at day's end.
  10. Respond to customer inquiries as directed by supervisors.
  11. Maintain regular attendance as per company standards.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and comfort working with people.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
