About the Hotel: The Embassy Suites by Hilton, located in the vibrant Eddy Street Commons, is looking to add a Part-Time Guest Service Agent to their Front Office team.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, your responsibilities include greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specific tasks include:

  • Greeting guests, completing registration, inputting and retrieving information, confirming guest details, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing welcome packets, and guiding guests to their rooms.
  • Assisting guests with check-out, managing payments, handling money, processing credit/debit cards, recording payments, converting foreign currency, making change, and processing gift certificates and cards.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of hotel information such as room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area details; answering guest inquiries.
  • Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Handling guest complaints, conducting research, and resolving issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Receiving, inputting, retrieving, and relaying messages to guests.
