Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality Management is hiring a Guest Service Agent for the Cabazon opening of the Hampton Inn & Suites. You will warmly welcome guests, check in/out, answer calls, and keep records accurate while supporting a friendly, efficient front desk team.

Join an opening team with opportunities to grow in a nationwide hospitality company. The role offers full-time and part-time hours with a starting pay of $19.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience preferred; hospitality experience is a plus.
• Friendly, positive attitude and genuine desire to help others.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to remain professional and calm with guest concerns.
• Basic computer and cash-handling skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Check guests in and out and assign rooms.
• Answer phones, route calls, and take guest messages.
• Respond to questions, requests, and concerns promptly.
• Handle guest information with confidentiality and integrity.
• Maintain accurate cash and transaction records.
• Complete front desk paperwork, logs, and reports.
• Keep lobby clean and welcoming; assist with breakfast service as needed.
• Provide wake-up calls and assist with special requests.
• Support sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Assist with laundry and other hotel operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude.

• Assist with breakfast service and keep the area clean and stocked, as needed.
• Provide wake-up calls and assist guests with special requests.
• Communicate important guest and property information to the team through the pass-on log.
• Support hotel sales and marketing efforts as directed by the General Manager.
• Assist with laundry and other hotel operations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
