A Guest Services Agent is responsible for greeting and registering guests, checking guests out, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience while maintaining hotel profitability.

What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent, your responsibilities include:

• Greeting guests, completing registration, inputting and retrieving information, confirming details, selecting rooms, coding electronic keys, promoting marketing programs, providing welcome packets, and guiding guests to their rooms.
• Assisting with check-out by ensuring accurate billing, handling payments, processing credit/debit cards, converting foreign currency, and managing gift certificates.
• Demonstrating knowledge of hotel offerings, local area, and general information to answer guest questions.
• Using up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and maximize occupancy.
• Responding promptly to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues, and handling complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Relaying messages to guests efficiently.
