Job Requirements
  • Completion of a two-year apprenticeship in front desk operations or hotel management (preferred)
  • 1 year of experience as a Hotel Front Desk Clerk (preferred)
  • Experience in customer service and people management
  • Knowledge of accounting practices
  • Ability to analyze guest needs and provide appropriate solutions
  • Conflict resolution, negotiation, objection handling skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Opera/Opera Cloud systems
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing a welcoming environment for guests
  • Checking guests in and out
  • Handling guest inquiries and transportation arrangements
  • Responding to calls, emails, and in-person questions
  • Booking reservations via phone
  • Billing, payment collection, and cash handling
  • Verifying shift activities and security items
  • Updating reports and managing departures
  • Stocking front desk supplies
  • Managing wake-up calls and guest communications
  • Maintaining a tidy front desk area
  • Referring inquiries to appropriate departments
  • Representing the organization professionally to all visitors
