Job summary

Roseshire Gaming Parlor is hiring a Security Officer to provide a high level of guest service while ensuring safety and security of the property and patrons. You will monitor for infractions, respond to incidents, and maintain professionalism and integrity in all interactions with guests.

Compensation is $17 per hour. The role requires a valid racing license where applicable and readiness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
• Successful completion of training programs as required by jurisdiction and property.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend information and ideas in spoken and written English.
• Ability to accept, prioritize, and follow through on work direction.
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level guest service to guests, Team Members, and vendors.
• Ensure safety of all guests and Team Members on the property.
• Record investigations and incident reports promptly.
• Assist with money transfers throughout the property.
• Patrol property during shift to maintain safety.
• Enforce property rules and Virginia Racing Commission regulations.
