Job summary

Sensei is seeking a Safety & Security Officer to join our Rancho Mirage location. You will be the first point of contact for guests and team members, promoting safety and a welcoming environment while addressing emergencies with calm professionalism.

Responsibilities include investigations, implementing safety programs, coordinating with authorities as needed, and ensuring compliance with CalOSHA, Riverside County, and federal OSHA guidelines. A strong guest-service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of security regulations and OSHA rules.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow with changing priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
• CPR Certification.

Responsibilities

• Identifies situations where security violations have occurred and protects facilities, guests, property, and employees.
• Conducts investigations concerning security violations and coordinates with outside law enforcement as needed.
• Implements safety programs to reduce accidents and injuries.
• Receives and tracks company and guest deliveries, ensuring timely and secure handoffs.
• Maintains reports and paperwork for incidents and safety actions.
• Monitors access-controlled points and issues temporary badges.
• Responds to emergencies including medical, fires, or hazardous material incidents.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
