Job summary

Navy Exchange Service Command seeks a HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT for its Groton location. The role involves cleaning guest rooms, public spaces, and laundry areas, operating cleaning equipment, and maintaining room readiness for guests.

You will manage linens, amenities, and in-room electronics, while ensuring guest comfort and safety throughout the property. Experience is not required; a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Physical requirements include moderate physical effort and moving furniture.

Responsibilities

• Cleans guest rooms and other assigned areas.
• Operates cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, waxer, polisher).
• Empties wastebaskets, dusts, waxes, polishes room furniture and cleans bathrooms.
• Changes light bulbs and moves furniture to clean under and behind.
• Cleans and inventories amenities, linens, and hangers; ensures TVs and phones are working.
• Maintains privacy and security of guests; greets and welcomes guests.
• Assists with breakfast setup and cleanup; performs laundry operations.
• Completes required safety and security training.
