Hyatt Place Bloomington, IN is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor responsible for inspecting cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors, and public areas, and assisting Housekeepers as needed to ensure guests stay comfortable.

The role requires strong guest service skills, organizational ability, and the capacity to communicate with guests and staff; responsibilities include reporting equipment issues, checking out rooms, and maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must be highly organized.
• Able to stand and move for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Strong guest service skills and customer orientation.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to communicate with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Zenith Management Company standards.
• Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms, public areas, and report equipment problems to the Building Manager or Housekeeping Executive.
• Inspect linens for cleanliness and condition; retire any item not up to standard.
• Report unexpected vacant rooms to General Manager or Housekeeping Executive.
• Inspect check-outs to assess room status and condition.
• Verify vacancy status in system once rooms are completed and inspected.
• Assist Housekeepers as needed.
• Check closets for cleanliness and remove unnecessary items.
• Know fire/alarm and evacuation procedures.
• Must be MSDS trained and complete Webfire Training.
• Perform other duties as requested by Housekeeping Executives or General Manager to aid operations.
• Keep company information confidential.
