Job summary

InterContinental New Orleans is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold high cleanliness standards in guest rooms and public spaces. You will greet guests, replenish supplies, and ensure rooms are serviced promptly while maintaining overall property appearance.

The role requires physical stamina and attention to detail, with responsibilities including bed making, stock replenishment, and reporting any maintenance needs. Prior housekeeping experience is a plus; a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous housekeeping or custodial experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and respond to queries.
• Make beds in guest rooms and restock supplies.
• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and polish fixtures.
• Wash walls, windows, and sills; collect and transport soiled linens.
• Report maintenance issues and update room status on assignment sheets.
