Job summary

Weekender is seeking a Housekeeper I to perform routine cleaning in guest rooms and public areas, following established SOPs and cleanliness standards. This is an entry-level role where you learn hotel room layouts, cleaning skills, and contribute to the guest experience by maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment.

You will restock amenities, maintain safety procedures, and work as part of a team to ensure high cleanliness scores.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with guests professionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic room cleaning tasks including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
• Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and coffee supplies.
• Clean assigned public areas (hallways, stairwells, lobbies) following established cleaning protocols.
• Properly use cleaning chemicals and equipment according to training and SOPs.
• Report shortages of supplies, damaged items, or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards.
