Job summary

Weekender is seeking an entry-level Housekeeper I to perform routine cleaning in guest rooms and public areas following established SOPs and cleanliness standards. This role offers hands-on training and a chance to contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

You’ll learn hotel room layouts, develop cleaning skills, and work as part of a team to maintain high cleanliness and guest satisfaction in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is required to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina is needed for repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and usage.
• Strong customer service skills when interacting with guests.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic room cleaning tasks: beds, linens, dusting, vacuuming, bathrooms.
• Restock amenities and supplies as needed.
• Clean public areas (hallways, lobby) following SOPs.
• Use cleaning chemicals and equipment per training.
• Report shortages or maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards.
